VOLLEYBALL

Get ready for fast rallies, big plays and even bigger team spirit. Volleyball 6s is a crowd favourite, bringing players together in a fun, inclusive and high-energy environment. With six players on court, strategy and cooperation are key — but there’s plenty of room for laughter, learning and celebrating the wins (big and small). All skill levels welcome, good vibes encouraged.

WAYS TO REGISTER

  • Register as an Individual if you're signing up solo and would like to be placed into a team.

  • Register as a Team if you already have a team. ​​​​​​​Please note: Only one person per team needs to complete the initial registration. That person will then receive a form to share with their teammates to collect all required event details.

REGISTRATION COSTS

Registration Fee (per person)

Early Bird: $59 (from 15 February to 15 April 2026)

Standard: $69 (from 16 April to 16 October 2026)

Your registration includes access to a full Rainbow Games experience:

  • Ticket to the Opening Ceremony (Thursday 29 October)
  • Ticket to the Closing Ceremony (Sunday 1 November)
  • Access to the arts, culture, and social programme throughout the Games
  • Opportunity to compete for medals and represent your community with pride
  • Player accreditation pass 
  • Your fee includes a contribution to the Rangatahi Legacy Initiative, supporting future generations of LGBTQI+ youth in sport

In addition to the registration fee, players must pay a sports fee to participate in a sport of their choice.

The following categories are available: 

  • Open Team (Inclusive of all gender identities and expressions. Anyone can enter this division).

  • Female-identifying Team (Open to cis women, trans women, and non-binary players assigned female at birth).
