NETBALL

Join us for a celebration of teamwork, talent and community on the court. Netball at Rainbow Games 2026 will take place in the state-of-the-art facilities at Hiwa, offering players of all identities, levels and backgrounds a vibrant and inclusive space to compete. Fast, fun and full of pride, it is your time to play at full volume.

WAYS TO REGISTER:​​​​​​​

  • Register as an Individual if you're signing up solo and would like to be placed into a team.

  • Register as a Team if you already have a team. ​​​​​​​ 

    Please note: Only one person per team needs to complete the initial registration. That person will then receive a form to share with their teammates to collect all required event details.​​​​​​​

REGISTRATION COSTS

Registration Fee (per person)

Early Bird: $59 (from 15 February to 15 April 2026)

Standard: $69 (from 16 April to 16 October 2026)

Your registration includes access to a full Rainbow Games experience:

  • Ticket to the Opening Ceremony (Thursday 29 October)
  • Ticket to the Closing Ceremony (Sunday 1 November)
  • Access to the arts, culture, and social programme throughout the Games
  • Opportunity to compete for medals and represent your community with pride
  • Player accreditation pass 
  • Your fee includes a contribution to the Rangatahi Legacy Initiative, supporting future generations of LGBTQI+ youth in sport

In addition to the registration fee, players must pay a sport fee to participate in a sport of their choice.

Netball Sport Fee
$20 per player

Sign up individually, or as part of a team and we will do our best to match you with a suitable team!

Each team requires a minimum of 7 players, and a maximum of 9.

CATEGORIES

The following categories are available:

  • Open Team
  • Female-identifying Team


Open (Inclusive of all gender identities and expressions. Anyone can enter this division)

Female-identifying (Open to cis women, trans women, and non-binary players assigned female at birth)

GRADES (SKILL DIVISIONS)

Within each category, you’ll select your playing division:

  • Social (no previous tournament experience required)
  • Competitive (previous tournament experience)

*Draws may be merged at Moana Va’s discretion if entries are low
