Placement for people without a team
You will be placed within a team in the grade and division of your choice by sports organisers after registrations close on 16 October. Your team, information on the draw, timings and competition details will be sent to you around 20 October.
Competition organisers may have to amend competition grades/divisions in order to provide a good level of play on the day.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals before the close of registrations on 16 October are handled by the good folk at kiaora@rainbowgames.co.nz. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Refunds are subject to the Rainbow Games Terms and Conditions found here.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
Venues, competition days and schedules of events may be changed or cancelled at event organiser’s absolute discretion, after which it may be decided to provide a refund of registration fees. In case the organisation is compelled to cancel a specific sport as part of the games because of a lack of participants, participants will be offered the choice between registering for another sport or withdrawing their participation. In the latter case, they receive an 80% refund.
Cancellations must be notified in writing.
- You may cancel your registration in the event up until 11.59pm on Friday 31st August 2026. You will be entitled to an 80% refund of your registration fees, less any administration costs.
- Cancellations received between Saturday 1 September and Wednesday 30 September 2026 are entitled to a refund of 50%, less any administration costs.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations after 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026 regardless of date of registration.
